The Activities Committee oversees the organization, staffing and conduct of all PLPA sponsored activities including the celebration of the July 4th holiday period. The PLPA Store is the responsibility of this committee, as well as the procurement of all necessary permits and approvals for activities, such as the fireworks display.
Our Projects & Activities
PLPA sponsored activities that celebrate the 4th of July weekend are the main responsibility of the Activities Committee. These activities include the PLPA Annual Meeting, the Boat Parade, the Flares, and the Fireworks display.
The PLPA Store is available at the Annual Meeting, and it is the committee's intent to build a Virtual PLPA Store in the future.
Volunteers are always needed to work at the Annual Meeting, to help organize the Boat Parade, to distribute the Flares, and to work at the PLPA Store.
