FLARES

BE ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR LAKE
REPLACE INCENDIARY FLARES WITH LEDS FOR THIS JULY CELEBRATION!

Please consider LED road flares instead of traditional flares!
They are re-usable, re-chargeable and much safer for people and the environment.
They pose no risks of burns or noxious fumes and can be switched off the moment the fireworks begin.
They don’t leave dangerous spikes or residue.
LED flares are available from online stores such as Amazon.  One example:

PLPA does not recommend using traditional incendiary flares.
For anyone still using the incendiary flares, PLEASE use an aluminum pie plate under them and clean up all debris.

PLPA will not be selling either type of flare this year.
