All Things Pleasant on the Lake

Our hummingbirds moved on, and the yard was quiet for many days. How we missed them! But suddenly they have been replaced by a new group! These little ones have paused in their journey to visit the flowers and seldom frequent the feeders. What a joy to have that happy whir fill the air once more! Chipmunks abound. We smile at their merry antics as they scurry about, gathering seeds to fill neat little food storage rooms in burrows below. Chipmunks seem intent on doing all the good they can and remind us to do the same…”for as long as ever you can”.
