Fireworks & Flares

When – Wednesday, 7/1/26 at 9:30 pm (Switch on your LED flares at 9), Followed by the Illumination of the Colors and Taps.

PLPA recommends the use of clean, reusable LED flares, available online. These make no mess, and can be turned off when the fireworks start, making the professional show more enjoyable for everyone.

Please catch flare residue by placing flares in a non-flammable receptacle, such as an aluminum pie plate, before lighting them. Collect flares and flare debris as soon as they have burned out, to guard against debris being washed into the lake by an unexpected rain shower. Also, please collect any fireworks residue found floating on the lake on the day after the fireworks.

Where – Good viewing anywhere with a lake view, as fireworks will be set off from a barge in the lake.
