Benefits

For all who visit or live in New London, NH, or surrounding communities, the importance of Pleasant Lake to our sense of place, and the regional watershed is unquestionable. Many have worked hard to maintain and protect this natural resource for the benefit and enjoyment of themselves and others.

The Pleasant Lake Protective Association, as a recognized 501 (c ) 3 tax exempt organization, is dedicated to responsible stewardship of the lake’s quality, natural beauty, and recreational opportunities.  This stewardship reflects cooperation and consultation with a broad range of interested governmental and non-governmental local, regional, and state entities.

Your membership provides Pleasant Lake Protective Association with resources to continue its programs to educate our residents, create community events, and protect the pristine quality of our lake.

A strong and growing membership base also positions the PLPA to better react to a meaningful challenge to the lake, if one should ever arise.
