All Things Pleasant on the Lake
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” Albert Einstein
The first week of Spring! Perhaps, just for today, we shall not dwell on the knowledge that temperatures have been well below freezing, snow banks are still piled high and winds have been gusting. Even Mr. Sharp-shinned Hawk is forced to tuck a leg up into his warm downy feathers as he plans his next attack. Perhaps we can close our eyes and transform our world of snow and ice and cold to the sights and sounds and smells of precious springtime! We shall imagine the sound of lake waters waking gently in the morning, reflecting fresh green leaves from the hills and budding forsythia from shorelines. We shall hear the most beautiful calls of the loons, singing their spring love songs together. We shall imagine the smell of warm soft earth…bursting with crocus, daffodils and tulips…all heavy with sweet morning dew. Perhaps, just for today, imagination will transform our world!
Sending all the best, Kittie
